Now, today some news papers are carrying a big advt by Gujarat Govt.,
captioned :

Rupani heralds a New Era of Clean Energy/Gujarat Solar Power Policy 2021 announced
“
Following are 2 paras of that Advt,
which reflect the DETAILS
of my suggestions listed at these earlier e-mails :
Congratulations, Shri R K Singhji [ 19 Nov 2020 ] / A Tale of Two States [ 28 Oct 2020 ]
Para # 4 :
“ Consumers other than Residentials can set up Solar
Projects on their Roof / Premises or can give their roof / premises on lease to
third party for generation & consumption of power within
or OUTSIDE the premises “
Para # 6 :
“ A group of consumers can set up solar projects for
self-consumption as a COLLECTIVE OWNERSHIP PROJECT
and consume the generated solar energy IN THE RATIO of
OWNERSHIP “

Wish you a very Happy New Year and Congratulations on
launch of this new Solar Power Generation Policy, which removes many hurdles
from the path of achieving our targets
I have no doubt, in a matter of weeks, app other States
will announce similar policies for their respective states
Whereas big advts in news-papers do help in creating
awareness , I urge you to launch a long – and sustained – publicity campaign to
reach out to all
Here are some suggestions re such a PUBLICITY CAMPAIGN
:
Ø Every
Electricity Bill ( paper ), to carry highlights of this policy, with contact
details of Govt Officers who can be approached for help
Ø Upload
this POLICY DOCUMENT on all Gujarat Govt websites ( with contact details )
Ø Request
all Co-operative Housing Societies to post this document on their Society
Notice Boards
Ø Using
