A) Achievements of the Past 11-12 Years

• Defence production increased nearly fourfold.
• Khadi and Village Industries production increased nearly fivefold.
• Electronics manufacturing increased nearly sevenfold.
• Modern railway coach production increased 21 times.
• Mobile phone production increased 35 times.
• Internet users/consumers increased nearly fourfold.
• Patents granted increased fourfold.
• Digital transactions increased 100 times.
• Tap-water connections were provided at an average rate 15 times faster than before.
• Gas connections were provided at an average rate six times faster each year.
• Toilet construction for the poor progressed at four times the earlier annual rate.

B) The "Sapt Dhara" (Seven-Stream) Reform Agenda for Viksit Bharat 2047

• Manufacturing power — India must become a trusted global supply-chain hub built on cost, quality, and scale, with "quality" as the core mantra.
• Agriculture and food processing — Farmers must move from farm to export market, turning millets, spices, fruits and chemical-free produce into global brands.
• Technology and innovation — India must become a global innovation hub in AI, quantum, space, robotics and data centres, and lead in next-gen 6G communication.
• Gati Shakti — Seamless connectivity via high-speed rail, modern highways, inland waterways, airports, multimodal logistics and port-led development.
• Raksha Shakti (defence power) — Self-reliance in defence manufacturing, next-gen defence tech, drones/counter-drones, hypersonic systems and cybersecurity leadership.
• Green economy and blue economy — Global-scale green hydrogen, renewables, energy storage and green mobility, alongside blue-economy opportunities like fisheries and coastal tourism.
• Soft power — Leveraging yoga, Ayurveda, tourism, sports, films, gaming and the WAVES Summit to project India's cultural and creative strength worldwide.

C) Specific Schemes / Youth-Focused Announcements

• 1 crore youth to receive AI skill training over the next year.
• Free online coaching to be provided nationwide for competitive exam preparation, easing the financial burden on middle-class families.
• A nationwide sports talent-hunt campaign for children aged 5-15 to build athletes for the 2036 Olympics (which India is bidding to host), alongside hosting the 2030 Commonwealth Games.
• A 100-week "Nasha Mukt Bharat" (Drug-Free India) campaign involving My Bharat volunteers, NGOs and community organisations.
• A modernised, voluntary civil defence network to prepare citizens for new-age threats like attacks on refineries, banking systems and data centres.
• Citizens invited to self-fill census data digitally via mobile phones for greater accuracy.
• Renewed appeal to political parties to implement 33% women's reservation in Legislative Assemblies and the Lok Sabha.
