Dear Kisan Leaders / Shri Tomarji : It is time to Shake Hands

Dear Kisan Leaders / Shri Tomarji : It is time to Shake Hands

Context :

Farm stir may end as govt, unions near deal   /  HT  /  08 Dec 2021

Extract :

In the letter sent through the Union home ministry, the Centre said it was willing to accept the major demands of the unions provided the farmers end their protests and return home.

The Union government and the Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM), a platform of farm unions, appeared to be moving closer to an agreement to end a yearlong protest by cultivators, as the farm body on Tuesday discussed a set of draft proposals sent by the Centre but deferred a decision on calling off the agitation to Wednesday.

Dear Kisan Netas / Shri Tomarji :

From the above-mentioned news report, it seems that the only point on which there is no consensus so far, is :

Legally guaranteed MSP for all 23 crops

For reaching a solution on MSP , which safeguards the interest of all stakeholders ( Farmers / Central Govt / State Govts / Food Processing Industry / country’s Food Security vis-à-vis our Food Storage Capacity / Trading Community / Food Grain Exporters etc ), I urge you to consider suggestions made in my following earlier e-mails :

Point : Counter-Point // MSP : MPQ ……………………….[ 28 Nov 2021 ]

Extract :

Here too a Compromise Solution is possible in the spirit of Give and Take

It is : MSP linked with MPQ

Where, MPQ = Maximum Purchase Quantity ( separate figure for each of those 23 crops )

This means, in each year, Government shall not be obliged to purchase more than the MPQ ( at its MSP ), for any crop

The MSP and MPQ shall be worked out and announced by the govt. 6 months in advance of the coming year

As suggested in my following earlier blog-email, it is possible to automate this entire process of computation of MSP, by using Geo-Spatial Technology :

Agri Reforms : an Ongoing Process…………………….[ 20 Nov 2021 ]

Using same technology, it is possible to also calculate ( automatically and without human intervention ), the MPQ for each of those 23 crops for the upcoming year

Both, the Government and the Farmers should be happy with such an AUTOMATIC – SCIENTIFIC – UNBIASED – TECHNOLOGY BASED – DYNAMIC process, which announces its results on a Govt website within a specific time - frame

This way, Govt will know in advance, the total amount of FUNDS that will be required for the coming season

And, knowing in advance, the MPQ / MSP for each crop, farmers will decide WHICH crop to plant and HOW MUCH to plant ( Demand / Supply / Price, dynamics in regulated manner )

On Govt web site, each purchase ( at MSP ) will be published ( individual and cumulative ) for each crop

This will show, how much total has been purchased ( for each crop ) and how much still remains to be purchased

When Govt purchase for an MSP crop reaches its stipulated MPQ ( for a given season / year ) , the Govt will stop buying and declare in all media

Irrespective of this provision, farmers will be free to negotiate with any trader / middleman / business , any SALE QUANTITY at any negotiated price ( whether higher or lower than published MSP )

Based on State-wise distribution ( of production ) of any particular crop, Central Government will work out State-wise QUOTAS of purchase quantities for each crop , as following formula :

Integration with two variables :

23

   ( msp_1 x mpq_1  =  Funds needed for Crop 1 )  + ( msp_2 x mpq_2 = Funds needed for Crop 2 )

+………..( insert data for all 23 crops, one by one )

Jio conducts trial of connected drones on its 5G Network /  Eco Times  /  07 Dec 2021

Extract :

Reliance Jio has conducted successful trials of connected drones on its indigenous 5G network, the telco’s senior vice president Aayush Bhatnagar said. [ aayush.bhatnagar@jio.com ]

“At Jio, we have taken another major stride in “Making 5G real” - beyond speed tests and demos. Jio has successfully conducted trials of connected drones on its indigenous 5G network,” Bhatnagar said in a Linkedin social media post on Monday.

The trial involved :

#    a precision command and control of drones over 5G using a fleet management system running in the

Cloud to perform tasks such as image recognition,

 #    track-and-trace, discrete payload pickup, and delivery

#    drone route sorties,

#    video imagery,

#    real-time drone control, and other applications,

the executive added.

“5G-connected drones will enable future use cases across industries and enterprises,” Bhatnagar said.

This comes close on the heels of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) kicking off a consultations process for setting up base price across 10 frequency bands for the commercial launch of 5G services.

Jio’s latest demonstration follows a series of trials it has conducted previously, such as Voice and Messaging over 5GNR or VoNR using homegrown 5G RAN and Core, an AI multimedia chatbot, and immersive high-definition virtual reality (HD VR) meeting.

The telco has said it has developed its own homegrown 5G stack which it plans to export abroad once testing its competence on a pan-India scale.

MY  TAKE  :

Ø  MA = DA x 4,000,000 ? ………………………………. [  17  July  2018  ]

In this blog, I wrote down my thoughts on how RELIANCE RETAIL STRATEGY will evolve for :

#  SALES

#  SUPPLY

#  INVENTORY

#  FINANCE

#  MARKETING

#  DELIVERY

As far as DELIVERY STRATEGY is concerned, following is what I envisaged :

===================================================

DELIVERY  :

Not only we will deliver the merchandize to your store , but we will also pick up " Ordered Items " ( for ONLINE orders only ) , from your store and deliver the same to your customers  !

Initially we will employ manual " Delivery Persons " for this but , before long , we will deploy a fleet of autonomous DRONES for this purpose

This fleet will cover " Kirana Stores " and " Online Customers " , located in pre-designated areas , covering 4 sq km ( 2 km x 2 km )

We are in talk with https://what3words.com/toddler.geologist.animated, to enable precise delivery through your 10th floor window  !

These drones will get their " Delivery Instructions " directly from our Web Server , for all ONLINE orders

When these drones arrive at your Store to pick up the items ( to be delivered ) , they will transfer ( Blue Tooth / NFC ) and display on your Computer screen , following data :

#  Online Order Number / time / date

#  Items covered with description / value of each

#  Customer Name / Address

#  Mode of Online Payment / Bank Details

#  Your online account CREDIT details, giving,( Sales Value )-( Purchase Price )

 #   " Purchase Price " of goods in your stock will be based on FIFO method

Monetizing Personal Data, using Web 3.0 ?

In the Data Protection Bill expected to be introduced in Lok Sabha in next few days, there is no provision for enabling the data-owner ( the User ), to monetize his personal data

This, despite the Bill saying : “ Personal Data is the property of the User. He owns his own data

But the Bill has no mechanism to allow an User to “ SELL  his data

For over 3 years, I have been pleading with our Policy Makers to incorporate this feature by implementing :

Only Answer :  a  Statutory  Warning   …………………………………..[ 10  Nov  2018  ]

Digital Dividend from Demographic Data [ 4 D ]…………………….. [ 14 Feb 2019 ]

SARAL ( Single  Authentic  Registration for Anywhere  Login )…[ 10 Feb 2019 ]

But, I have not lost hope !

I strongly believe, it is only a matter of 2 years ( at most ), before WEB 3.0 ( centered around BLOCKCHAIN technology ), forces Social Media / e-Commerce portals etc., to pay / compensate the users for collecting / compiling / and selling their personal data.

WEB 3.0 will ensure that the content creators are rewarded, by paying them for using their content for making money

Following article supports my proposition :

What Is Web 3 & Why Is It Called the Internet of the Future ?  /  MEDIUM  /  08 Nov 2021

Extract :

Instead of a free and open web, the internet is now entirely controlled by a few companies. Financial inequality grew as owners of Web 2 platforms — Zuckerberg & friends — became the big winners. In contrast, the rest of us are unpaid participants.

When we post, like, share, and comment, we either don’t make any money or get a tiny fraction of the value we add. Yet, we — the users — are the pumping heart of these platforms. Without us, they’re nothing.

In Web 2, we have no control over our data, where it’s stored, and with whom it’s shared.

Platform owners collect and sell our data to various companies, sometimes without even our consent. And what do we get from this sweet deal ? Nothing tangible except custom ads and recommendations.

In Web 3, users and builders alike can earn money and make a good living.

This is possible because dapps and other Web 3 services are powered by cryptocurrency tokens.

Every time you use, improve, and interact, you earn tokens. The more you participate, the more tokens you accumulate. The tokens you earn will appreciate. You can either hold onto your earnings or exchange them against fiat currencies.

Because Web 3 is built on the principle of shared ownership, everyone has “skin in the game”. When a Web 3 platform grows and succeeds, all win, not just a select few. In Web 3, you are a user, a creator, but most importantly, an owner.

In Web 3, you own your data. You can even get paid to lease it. This level of control is possible due to digital private keys. Your data are the equivalent of a digital safe deposit. Only you have the keys to open the safe.

Do you want custom ads and news feeds? Easy.

Sell some of your data to advertisers, so they know a bit more about you. Select who can access your data and who can’t.

Select the bits you want to share and the bits you want to keep secret. You are in total control.

We know how difficult it is for talented people to monetise their passions. Scientists lack funding. Artists don’t sell. Web 3 will change that. People would monetise their passions, whatever that passion is.

Thanks to non-fungible tokens (NFTs), painters, poets, scientists, and musicians can sell digital rights to their creations or share ownership with a dedicated community.

But for a Web 3 future to happen, leaders and builders seeking a just and equal society must take the first steps.

I’m talking programmers, entrepreneurs, investors, scientists, and politicians. Only then will the masses follow.

Web 3 promotes democracy at all levels of society. In Web 3, we cease to be exploited; everybody wins

Dear Shri Ashwini Vaishnawji  /  Shri Rajiv Chandrasekharji ,

I urge you to modify / alter proposed DATA PROTECTION BILL, to incorporate clause for “ Compensating “ the Data-Owners, as per Data Custody Portal , suggested in my earlier e-mails

In much the same way that Aadhar / CoWin / JanDhan / RuPay / JAM / Ayushman Peronal Health History Cards etc., are being adopted by many countries of the World, you have an opportunity to lead the World, by jumping from WEB 2.0 to WEB 3.0 ( launching of www.IndiaDataCustodian.gov.in , as explained in my emails )
