Here is what I mean

To both AI , I asked the same question

Following are their replies

Question :

what is the current status of electric vehicle manufacture in India ?

 ChatGPT  :

Answer :

I'm sorry, but I am not able to browse the internet and my knowledge is based on information that was available up until 2021, so I am unable to provide you with information on the current status of electric vehicle manufacture in India. However, I can tell you about the general state of the electric vehicle industry in India as of 2021.

As of 2021, the electric vehicle market in India was in a state of growth and development. The government of India has set a goal of achieving 30% electric vehicle penetration by 2030, and has implemented a number of policies to encourage the adoption and production of electric vehicles in the country. These policies include financial incentives for the purchase of electric vehicles, the establishment of charging infrastructure, and the creation of a favorable regulatory environment for electric vehicle manufacturers.

Several domestic and international companies have entered the Indian electric vehicle market, including Mahindra Electric, Tata Motors, and Hero Electric. These companies have launched a range of electric vehicles, including cars, buses, and two-wheelers. However, the electric vehicle market in India remains relatively small, with electric vehicles accounting for a small share of total vehicle sales in the country.

YouChat  :

The manufacture of electric vehicles in India has been steadily increasing in recent years, due to the government's push for the adoption of electric vehicles. According to the Society of Manufacturers of Electric Vehicles (SMEV), India had around 1,53,000 electric vehicles registered in 2020, a significant increase from the 57,000 registered in 2018. In 2021, the government of India announced plans to make India an all-electric vehicle nation by 2030. The government has also launched several initiatives to encourage the manufacturing and adoption of electric vehicles, including the FAME India scheme, which subsidizes the purchase of electric vehicles. Additionally, the government is providing incentives to set up charging infrastructure and support research and development initiatives

My Take :

With such fast paced development of  “ Conversational  AI “   websites, it won’t be long before Google , Bing and Yahoo , introduce on their home page, another “ CHAT BAR “ ( as opposed to a SEARCH BAR ), as suggested by me in :

Ø  Google , watch out – here comes ChatGPT ! …………[ 25 Dec 2022 ]

Extract :

Dear Sundar Pichai,

This is wake up time !

I strongly suggest that , without losing any time , on your Google Home page , next to the SEARCH BAR , you introduce following option :

“ Dear Visitor,

If you are in a hurry to find a solution , instead of a large number of links, then please reframe  your “ search term “ as a QUESTION and enter in following :

LaMDA search

#2. Combining ChatGPT with search engines

If you would rather integrate ChatGPT in your usual search engine, so you have direct answers without having to use its own interface, you can do so as well!

You just need to add this extension for both Chrome and Firefox to obtain direct ChatGPT responses directly in your google searches.
