digital bus for Mumbai

can use the Chalo App on their mobile phone to tap in while
entering from the front door of the bus. The commuter will have to tap out using the
mobile app from the rear door exit. It will compute the fare based on the
distance travelled and deduct from online wallets “

passengers are getting off and
seat/s are falling vacant
# If bus is already FULL and no passenger is getting off at
the next bus stop,
then driver will
not halt the bus ,since

flash a signal / ring a bell , a few minutes before reaching the stop

# It is equally easy to introduce such an Integrated
Traffic Management

Inter-City buses as well

Station of the City traffic
department, much in the same way
ATC control air traffic or railways control train

slightly modified )
technology to city traffic

app as suggested by me
And, he will say :
" There is no need to fix
a Tablet behind each seat. Just one smart tablet
fixed near the entrance of each bus should suffice
Each boarding passenger will enter ( simply by touching ) his
destination on his own Mobile App and then hold the mobile against that tablet at the entrance
We will even be able to transmit this
" Destination / Dis-embarkation " data to each and every
bus stop on the route AND display that number on the indicator at each
bus-stop
And we will offer this ITMS (
Intelligent Transport Management System ) to all Indian cities
