Drones used
for live review of new tech housing projects by PM /
TNN / 04 July 2021
Extract :
Ø Prime
Minister Narendra Modi reviewed the real time progress of six Light House
Projects ( LHP ), across six cities with LIVE FEED from DRONES on Sunday
These projects are using NEW
TECHNOLOGIES for faster construction and have the target to
complete over 6,000 houses and ancillary facility in ONE YEAR
Ø So
far as the LHPs are concerned, TOI has learned that all the construction
companies have assured Modi to complete the projects within timeline
Ø The
PM had launched the projects on Jan 01, this year with an aim for large scale
adoption of NEW TECHNOLOGIES to build houses quickly
Ø Sources
said the Housing Ministry used LIVE DRONE FEEDS from
FACTORIES and also from the ACTUAL
CONSTRUCTION SITES , to suggest how the projects are
ON TRACK
Ø
“ This was the largest ever when DRONES
were used for LIVE REVIEW of progress on the ground ; from
FACTORIES to the WORK-SITES across
a dozen cities. Some of the factories where pre-fabricated items are being
manufactured are far away from the WORK-SITES “,
said a source
WHY UNFAIR ?
Although I did
suggest use of LIVE FEED using DRONES , in my following e-mail, I had suggested
taking advantage of LHP project to EDUCATE / INSTRUCT , millions of Civil Engineering Students / Professionals and many others :
Ø Congratulations, Shri Hardeep Singh Puriji ………………….[ 03 Jan
2021 ]
Here is
what I had suggested :
Ø
During the launch of Light
House project, Shri Modiji invited architects planners, engineers and students to visit these projects.
Ø
Shri Modiji’s suggestion is
unique, as far as exploiting this project as a life-time “ learning opportunity “ is concerned. But, in India, we have
some 3179 Civil engineering colleges, admitting each year, close to 6 lakh students
Ø
Hence the number of Civil
Engineering students / employed civil engineers / civil engineering
lecturers-professors / architects / Structural engineers / Interior designers /
skilled civil workers ( masons-carpenters – electricians – plumbers – brick
layers etc ), could easily run into millions
Ø
Here is a method to “ remotely train “ these millions of
construction professionals, in NEW construction technologies, WITHOUT visiting
those sites :
Ø Construction companies ( Foreign Technology donor + Indian
Partner Company ), to deploy 8 / 10
drones ( in each of the 3 shifts of 8 hours each
) to “ Live Stream “ the videos of actual construction
taking place, at each site.
Ø These VIDEOS to be made visible to
the entire world in real-time basis, as
currently being done for TESLA’s Giga-factories under construction at Austin
and Berlin ( Note : Partnering by some Indian Construction company at each city
location , should be made mandatory to
achieve a satisfactory “ transfer of technology “ )
Ø All class-rooms in all Civil Engineering
Colleges to be installed with ZOOM type
of Video Conferencing facilities,
with options to connect to the SITE OFFICES of each city project. This will
enable millions of students and professors to “ ask questions “ to the Site Project Managers ( and get
immediate answers ) – even as they are watching / viewing the “ Live Stream “.I
feel Microsoft / Google etc will be too happy to provide the necessary hardware
/ software to the colleges FREE of COST
Ø
If challenged, I thinks these tech giants would be happy
to install in each college, a HOLOGRAPHIC projection of the actual
construction taking place in each of the 6 cities
Jio Glass will even enable Holographic
3D meetings , across the world
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ks99SdozwDE { Hologram of Shri Modi }
The world's first HOLOGRAM protest
Ø To motivate year-long learning through active participation, announce
competition / prizes ( Rs 10 lakh / Rs 5 lakh / Rs 2 lakh ) for civil
engineering colleges to submit by 31 Oct 2021 , their CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY RANKING FORMULA to your Ministry . Winners may be
felicitated by your good self and invited to ride a float in the Republic Day
parade of 26 Jan 2022 . These formulas should be published on ministry’s web
site
Ø Only yesterday, while laying the
foundation stone of IIM-Sambalpur ( through VIDEO conference ), Shri Modiji
said :
“ The goal of self-reliant India will be achieved with the help
of COLLABORATIVE , INNOVATIVE and TRANSFORMATIVE concepts
in management. “
Noting that technology is reducing distances between regions, Modiji
said, India has brought speedy reforms in the DIGITAL CONNECTIVITY sector
in order to cope with changes all over the world

Dear Shri
Ramesh Pokhriyalji,
( Education Minister / minister.sm@gov.in ),
I urge you to fully
exploit this, “ Once in a lifetime “ opportunity to “ Train / Impart Skills “
in new construction technologies to millions , through :
Ø Launch of 24x7 dedicated TV
Channel to broadcast LIVE FEEDS from those drones
Ø Launch of a course in Civil Engineering curriculum, titled “ New
Construction Technologies “
Ø Require all 3179 Civil Engineering Colleges to equip their class-rooms for receiving LIVE FEEDS using
Swayamprabha
channels
Ø Launch a YouTube Channel for LIVE FEEDS , which can be viewed by lakhs of
“ Construction Engineers and Workers “ , working at thousands of construction
sites , all over the country
Ø Grab ISRO’s offer for Satellite TV classrooms

us for a moment consider this – Space India 2.0 indicates that the cost to
cover ONE sq. km from space varies between $ 1.5 and $ 6.0, vis-à-vis $ 3,000
to $ 30,000 required by ground infrastructure to cover the same area
