Dear Shri Amitabh
Kantji,
Enjoyed your
following illuminating article in Eco
Times :
At one place, you
write about new
technologies which could greatly help us achieve the targets announced
by Shri Modiji at COP26 :
----------------------------
“ India has set itself a goal to attain self-reliance
in energy by 2047, the hundredth year of independence.
To achieve this, there is a need to invest in
cutting-edge technologies across areas such as Batteries, Solar Panels, Green
Hydrogen, Electrolysers and Green Steel and focus on their consequent scale-up.
Lithium-air, Lithium-sulfur, Soium-ion, Aluminium-ion
and solid state batteries all hold promising
potential.
Next generation and high efficiency solar panels, powered by direct ( kerfless
) solar wafers and heterojunction PV, are the future of energy industry. It is
now the opportune moment for the Industry to make this transition to digital,
lean and green. “
Dear Shri Kant ,
I would like to draw your attention to my following
e-mail, in which, I have urged our Policy Makers / Tech Experts etc., to
examine following technologies :
Ø Solar
Panels ( at Lab stage, no doubt ) that are 1,000 times more
powerful than currently available
Ø Iron-Air batteries which are one-tenth as costly as
current Lithium-ion batteries AND capable of storing Solar Energy for 6 days ( size of a washing
machine )
