Dear Shri Anil Rawalji ,
[ MD & CEO – Intellismart Infra / info@IntellismartInfra.in ]
Congratulations once again – this time for your collaboration with
Airtel
On an earlier occasion , I had congratulated you through my following
email :
Ø Congratulations,
Shri Anil Rawalji …………………………… 17 Nov
2021
In that e mail , I had detailed a proposal whereby a Smart Meter will ,
# Compare it with Energy
Efficiency Standards , to be set by Bureau of Energy Efficiency ( BEE )
# Depending upon the deviation
from BEE specified STANDARDS ( for each device ), assign carbon CREDITS /
# Enable the concerned household to “ Trade “ its earned Carbon Credits on the Carbon Trading Exchange
Only yesterday , I have further elaborated my proposal in my following
email :
===================================================
BEE
: the Ball is in your Court
Gist of my suggestion :
Dear Shri Abhay
Bakreji ,
( Director General –
BEE / dg-bee@nic.in )
This offers an
unprecedented opportunity to BEE as “ Carbon Credit Administrator “
I
urge you to interpret Power Ministry’s
notification as follows :
# Sector
……………………………………………. 1400 Million Indian Citizen
# Non
Obligate Entities……………………….. 300 Million Domestic
Households
# De-carbonization
Project ………………… Energy Savings of Domestic Appliances / Devices
# Energy
Efficiency Standards ……………. Max Electricity Consumption per unit of
time used
# Methodology
…………………………………….. Carbon Finance through Carbon
Credits …12 Mar 2021
# Offset
Mechanism ………………………. Carbon Credit Trading Scheme
# Registering
of Project ……………………When DISCOM installs Smart Meter, auto-Registration on BEE
portal
# Carbon
Credit Certificates …………… DEMAT Carbon Credit
Account ( To be delivered by
BEE to Household
on
a Mobile App named “ BEEMAT “ )
===================================================
Dear Shri Anil Rawalji ,
On your website , I
noticed that you had , earlier this year , conducted a hackathon , where two
projects , closely resemble my original proposal at :
Carbon Finance through Carbon Credits …12 Mar 2021
Can we turn 250
Million Smart Meters as a device that enables those households to earn by
SAVING electricity, earning CARBON CREDITS – then selling the same to others on
a Carbon Trading Platform ?
I urge you to :
# Discuss the desirability / feasibility of my proposal with Airtel /
Adani Electric DISCOM
# If there is a broad consensus, then approach BEE for its blessings to let
you conduct a SANDBOX trial
Such a trial can be conducted in your Gurugram office.
I
would be happy should you want to conduct this trial at my residence ( Andheri –
Mumbai )
If successful – and supported by BEE – a bigger trial could be conducted
at BEE office at R. K. Puram, New Delhi
Although those numerous Domestic Appliances in my house are not EMBEDDED with SENSORS ( to measure /
transmit power consumption data over WiFI to a Smart Meter ) , I believe such a
SANDBOX trial could be conducted using Smart Plugs (TP-Link Kasa / Belkin
Wemo Insight / Amazon )
