explore !

Sure,' Resume Rater ' can, within a matter of minutes,

Ø     ' rate ' resumes

Ø     assign a ' Score ' to each

Ø     then display these resumes in the descending order of ' Scores ' ( - with the best resumes on TOP )

Vastly simplifies a Recruitment Manager's life.

But can ' Resume Rater '

Ø     ' rate ' job advertisements ?

Ø     ' Score ' these ?

Ø     display these advertisements in the descending order of ' Scores ' ?

Can ' Rating Algorithm '  work equally well on any set of ' Document – Category ' ?  I have not tried this. But it is an intriguing idea !

Jobseekers may want to try and rate job-advts to find the best jobs. Will save them a lot of time during job search.

To download this software ( - free and without login ), all they have to do is to type in Google, " Resume  Rater " – then click " I'm Feeling Lucky ".

One needs to explore to seek–out luck !

Resume Rater

Recruitment Managers do not need more resumes. They have enough on their hard disks to fill the next 1000 vacancies !
If only , these resumes were to be ” searchable “.
What recruiters need is a ” Resume Search Engine ” aka
” Resume Rater “.
When processed using ” Resume Rater “, these thousands of unsearchable text resumes lying in hundreds of files and folders on your harddisk, get
o Rated……………. ( score-wise )
o Organized…….. ( Function / skill wise )
o Meaningful……. ( for which vacancy ? )
o Searchable……. ( a matter of seconds )
No wonder 2173 copies of ” Resume Rater ” recruitment software have been downloaded from
http://www.download.com
- which ranks ” Resume Rater ” # 65 out of some 860 Database Management Softwares.
It is free and no need to even register !

sales executive

Recruitment Managers / Recruitment Agencies around the world, dread the following scenario :
Boss ( or Client ) :
” Find me a best sales executive within the next hour ”
Of course, there are thousands of resumes in the hard disk of every recruitment manager, including the resume of that ” best sales executive “ .
Problem is :
It will take 6 days to open / read even a few hundred resumes – let alone a few thousands ! How to find that ” best ” resume in one hour ?
No recruitment manager need worry about such a perfectly reasonable demand !
All she has to do is to download ( free and without login ),
” Resume Rater ”
from almost any website listed on the very first page of Google search-results ( or Yahoo or Bing or whatever ! ).
Then ” rate ” all those thousands of resumes on the hard disk for ” function = Sales “.
The ” best ” sales-executive’s resume will automatically get listed on the TOP of the search results – within a few minutes.
Of course, the Recruitment Manager / Recruitment Agency runs the risk of many more ” reasonable ” demands from the Boss / Client !

What keywords should she use in her resume ?

What keywords will truly represent her Knowledge / Skills / Expertise / Competence ?
She need not worry if she would simply look-up 12,000 + keywords in ” Resume Rater ” recruitment software tool.
In ” Resume Rater “, keywords are already arranged according to ” Function / Skill ” background of a jobseeker.
It is also quite easy to download ” Resume Rater ” – free and without login.
The very first page of Google search results, lists at least 5 ( of over 50 ), websites from where one can download Resume Rater.

Resume Writing Tip

A common ” Resume Writing Tip ” for jobseekers is to judiciously incorporate in their resumes, keywords relevant to their knowledge / skills.
No justification required for this.
But how can jobseekers get the HR Managers to ” notice ” those keywords as soon as they open the resume ? Each resume will likely get no more than 5 seconds to make a first good impression
.
Of course, if HR Managers are using ” Resume Rater ” software to ‘ rate ‘ all incoming resumes then there is no problem.
Not only will keywords get highlighted automatically, but even the resumes will get ranked in the descending order of ” relevance “.
I would not be surprised if many jobseekers are themselves rating their own resumes before sending to recruiters !
After all , ” Resume Rater ” can be freely downloaded from nearly all websites listed on first page of Google search results.

Where is the skilled Manpower ?

Skills Commission of Government of India estimates following requirements of “ skilled ‘ professionals during 2010-2015 :

Ø  Information Technology  ………………….  3.2  Million

Ø  Retail  ……………………………………………….. 17.3 Million

Ø  Banking  ……………………………………………. 4.25 Million

Ø  Tourism  ……………………………………………. 3.6  Million

Ø  Food Processing  ………………………………. 9.2  Million

Ø  Warehousing  ……………………………………. 25.0 Million

                                     Total  ………………….  62.55 Million

With a net increase in India’s population of  22  Million every year, one would think, there should be no problem in finding more than enough people to fill these vacancies.

Till you find out that no more than  1  million people get any kind of “ Vocational Training “ each year !

Unfortunately, those 1.67 million B.A / B.Sc / B.com graduates that our colleges churn out every year, are simply unfit to fill these vacancies !
