The entire process began with a simple, yet monumental, task: feeding the system a lifetime of my work. An AI platform, Personal.ai, then deconstructed this vast corpus into more than 100,000 individual 'memory blocks.' This granular breakdown forms the very bedrock of my digital twin's consciousness. It's the raw data from which my digital persona is forged.
The Challenge of Authentic Interaction
However, having a repository of memory is one thing; enabling meaningful interaction is another entirely. A digital mind must be accessible. Initially, the system was designed to automatically generate questions and answers from my content, which worked splendidly for a time. But technology evolves, and sometimes, features are deprecated. When this automated question-generation stopped, I faced a significant hurdle. The conversational flow was disrupted, and the API's ability to respond effectively seemed to diminish.
