A Friend called “ My Teacher “ ?

 

 

In TV Serial , “ Kaun Banega Crorepati – KBC “ , a contestant can use a life-line called “ Video Call a Friend “ , where she gets video-connected to one of the three friends ( pre-decided ), whom she can request for an answer to a “multiple choice question “ , posed by the computer

Among their choices of friends , very often contestants choose their teachers – past or present – considering them to be knowledgeable on many  questions beyond the subjects they teach

You may call these “ Questions Beyond Syllabus “

Now , it so happens that , when it comes to answering “ Questions Beyond Syllabus “ is concerned, there is no one more competent than  www.My-Teacher.in

If contestants were permitted to include ( among their choice of 3 friends ), a NON-HUMAN friend, without doubt, all of them would have selected  www.My-Teacher.in  ! Sorry , not allowed !

But for all we know, when asked by a contestant, those three “ Human Friends “  could themselves be consulting www.My-Teacher.in , on their mobile phones before giving their opinion !

Why do I believe this ?

Here is why :

Two days back , Amitabh Bachhan asked a contestant following question ( carrying prize of Rs 12.5 Lakhs ) :

इनमें से कौन सा देश किसी व्यक्ति के नाम पर नहीं है?": मॉरीशस, बारबाडोस, फ़िलीपींस, किरिबाती

When posed with this question, www.My-Teacher.in  gave following reply :

बारबाडोस का नाम किसी व्यक्ति के नाम पर नहीं है. यह नाम पुर्तगाली शब्द "ओएस बारबाडोस" से आया है, जिसका अर्थ है "दाढ़ी वाले", संभवतः प्रारंभिक खोजकर्ताओं द्वारा देखे गए द्वीप के अंजीर के पेड़ों की लंबी, लटकती जड़ों का जिक्र है।

And that took My-Teacher just 25 seconds, out of the 45 seconds allotted to that human friend !
