Dear Principal ,
Next NEET UG exam is going to be a CBT ( Computer Based Test )
Ever since the NEET question paper leak in last May , this was expected
Now we have confirmation from the news report at the bottom
It is natural for you to wonder :
What can I do to prepare my students for this change so that they are quite
“ at home “ when appearing in a CBT NEET ?
It is quite simple
Just get them “ accustomed “ to taking ONLINE tests – on their Mobiles -
and unannounced as well !
On our FREE platform > www.My-Teacher.in
Just ask your teachers ( 9th to 12th
Standards ) to access www.My-Teacher.in , from their Mobiles and select,
“ I AM A TEACHER “
As far as the process of administering ONLINE tests is concerned, nothing comes close to www.My-Teacher.in :
o
This portal enables
your teachers to prepare a Real test for their
students
o
They can create “ Unlimited Number “ of tests ( MCQ ) , without need to Register or Login
o
They can create a
COMMON paper for all the students , OR , a different paper for each student
o
They can conduct
this test ONLINE ( if your students have access
to a Mobile or Computer ) , OR
o
They can conduct
this test OFFLINE ( if you want to conduct
this test with students in the classroom ). In this case , from her Mobile
, teacher gets to select > Printer >
No of copies > Paper
size
o
If conducted
ONLINE, the results of these tests can be emailed to the teacher ( along with
the correct ANSWER SHEET ), and some statistics of the test
o
The test is created
automatically by AI , working
behind this portal
This Artificial Intelligence (
AI ), allows your teacher to specify :
o
The subject for which she would like to create
this test
o
The standard for which she would like to
create this test
o
The number of questions that she would like to
have in this test OR the duration
she would like to permit her students to attempt this test ( in which case, the
number of questions will be decided by the AI )
o
On a scale of 1 –
10 , the difficulty level for the
entire test ( created automatically by the AI ). It also gives her the flexibility to specify difficulty levels
o
The AI can generate
“ marks “ for each question by itself . OR , allow you to specify marks for
each question
Dear Principal ,
It is quite likely that the students of your school are NOT allowed to
bring Mobile phones / laptops, in the class room
This will have to change.
If not everyday, then at least on pre-announced “ Surprise Test Day “, you will need to allow them to bring their
mobiles with them
Remember, only
if conducted ONLINE ( students attempting from their Mobiles ) :
-
the results of these tests can be emailed to
the teacher ( along with the correct ANSWER SHEET ), and some statistics of the
test
But then , to get a copy of the TEST RESULT yourself , all that you have
to do is to INSTRUCT all teachers to enter your Email ID as well .
You want to know, what kind of ONLINE tests are teachers administering ,
how often and how are the students performing in these tests
Of course, a teacher can use PRINT command on her mobile and print out
the QUESTION PAPERS on any nearby printer and distribute to the students – then
collect the papers after 40 minutes and RATE these manually – then prepare an
EXCEL sheet and email to you
That might not find favour with your teachers !
With regards,
Hemen Prekh

Extract :
“ With the key parts of the report on the NEET
UG leak is likely to be kept “ classified “ , recommendations made in the
report on overall exam reforms will be made public….
Intensive and in-depth consultations were held with various stakeholders
on NEET UG
leak, the kind of methods being used by the leak mafia, and the various exam
and data safety protocols in place at the NTA
Much information on possible breach areas and protocol lacunae is also
there…..
ET has learnt that the panel is preparing to recommend short term and
long term measures in its report which will be made public.
The report is said to be largely in favor of the Computer Based Test ( CBT ) format but with a well-outlined
security protocol in place
The under radar NEET UG exam is also likely to head for a revamp with
panel discussions clearly favoring a shift from a
single day , PEN and PAPER test to CBT mode spread over a few days
A two stage NEET UG is under
consideration much like the Joint Entrance Examination ( JEE ) . Only those who
clear JEE Mains are eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced that determines
admissions to IITs. A similar model of a two stage exam
is being mulled for NEET UG as well………
Limiting the number of attempts at NEET is also likely to be seriously recommended by the
panel. Currently, the NEET UG eligibility conditions do not place age limits or
any limit on number of attempts which is said to significantly increase the
number of candidates in the fray
