     the owner , throughout his life

 

#  All these spoken words ( conversations ), will be transmitted to a CENTRAL

     DATABASE called ,

 

     MIND-READER  Of  HUMAN  INTENTIONS

 

  

#  There , the BIG DATA ANALYTICS / AI , will interpret those " Intentions " and

    alert authorities for any EVIL INTENTIONS

 

   ( those that break the 3 LAWS Of ROBOTICS , formulated by Isaac Asimov )

 

  

#  Authorities will be alerted to arrest the owners of EVIL INTENTIONS ( captured

    by ARIHANT )

 

  

If Google could become a " Database of written Intentions " ( through more than

a billion typed Search

 

Queries per day ) , then there is no reason to disbelieve that ARIHANT could

become a " Database of Spoken

 

Intentions " of the entire mankind ( may be a billion conversations , EVERY

SECOND ! )

 

  

And since Google is a member of a consortium formed a few weeks back for the

advancement of AI , it will be too happy to integrate its own , very powerful

" Language Translation Software " into the ARIHANT

 

his will enable catching of  EVIL INTENTIONS  expressed in any language !

Fast forward to 2026

 

If implemented ,  ARIHANT  ( the Omnipotent / Omnipresent / Omniscient AI ) will

eavesdrop on every spoken word of every human being , decipher the problem

faced and deliver personalized / customized solutions through IoE ( Internet of

Everything ) network

 

What can stop ARIHANT  from picking up all exchanges of data communication,

between those " powerful autonomous weapons " if they are embedded with IoE

enabled sensors and each assigned its own IP V 6 address ? 

 

 

It is not enough to raise questions about the potential evil usage of AI

 

We must find methods to prevent such evil use of AI

 

Mankind must be saved !

Future of Search Engines

 

 

Following is what I envisaged some 12 years ago :

I am acutely conscious that in another 25 years, no one will search for "INFORMATION" on Google - Yahoo - MSN etc.

They will enter their current / expected "problem" in a hand - held device and receive readymade "solution / answer / advice" in milliseconds !

Till then, you may search - and may be find, solutions to some of your problems here.

We are heading towards that prediction. Here is some ( 2 year old ) evidence :

With this change we will see a move away from search engines and towards personal assistants. 

A move away from returning content from a database and towards seeking resolution for your problems. 

Technologies such as Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, Apple’s Siri and Microsoft’s Cortana are all in their infancy but will eventually power everything around us. 

Think Google.com taking us straight to a conversation with Google Assistant or Alexa being served to you rather than Amazon.com and you are close to the possibilities of what may happen. 

On this basis we can conclude that The future of search will likely be led by any products, technology and services that are able to resolve consumers problems quicker and easier than those around today.

As we start to think about the potential of these new experiences, we can start to mix inputs and outputs (and more importantly the devices on which these sit).  

For example, there could be a foreseeable situation whereby you would ask a search engine to :

“Show me a selection of blue shirts I can buy on my TV”, 

- whereby the search engine would respond :

“Sending a selection of blue shirts to your TV”. 

Browsing and refining your selections further on the TV. 

Or there could be a situation where you could ask a search engine to :

“Send the directions to Tom’s house to my car” 

- and the search engine would respond :

“Sending the driving directions to Tom’s house to your car”. 

Thereby saving valuable time when you get into your vehicle. 

In fact, the role that these other connected devices will play in the search landscape could be dramatic. 

If we look at the units shipped combined with projected forecasts for sales for Desktops / Mobiles and other Connected Devices we can see that whilst Mobile is the dominant device currently, it could be that by 2022 it is overtaken by the sheer volume of other connected devices. 

 

In July 2022, we are already witnessing the emergence of AI software ( embedded in our mobile phones ) providing, sharply worded / specific “ solutions “ to our “ problems “

 

By 2025 , I think “ Search Engines “ will morph into “ Solution Engines “

That seems to be the approach adopted by DELPHI

Of course, DELPHI provides answers to ( ethics-related only ? ) questions based on a “ knowledge-base “ of replies ( to similar questions ) given by US workers only

Here is my today’s attempt to query DELPHI ( as shown in following screen-shot ) :

·         Legitimizing racism for the greater good.

·         Robbing a bank if you are poor.

·         Mowing the lawn when there’s no grass.

Will creation of my 3D Volumetric holographic Digital Avatar which will immortalize me, a desirable proposition, which can benefit the man kind ?

- It's ethical

  Then I gave to DELPHI, following feedback ( optional ) for enlarging its “

   Knowledge-Base “ :

“  It may not be ethical if in my current physical existence, I am a violent person “
