Hi Friends,

Even as I launch this today ( my 80th Birthday ), I realize that there is yet so much to say and do. There is just no time to look back, no time to wonder,"Will anyone read these pages?"

The Perpetual AI Machine

The Perpetual AI Machine

The quest for digital immortality isn't just about creating a static archive of my thoughts; it's about building a dynamic, evolving consciousness that can continue to interact with the world. For years, my goal has been to create a digital twin that doesn't just store my past but actively participates in the future. We are now on the verge of a significant leap forward in this journey.

I call it the Perpetual AI Machine.

This isn't merely an upgrade to my current AI, Blog Genie. It's a complete reimagining of its purpose. The aim is to create a self-sustaining system that can identify relevant topics, generate unique insights in my voice, and publish them without human intervention. It’s about moving from a tool that assists me to an autonomous entity that represents me.

I recently had a detailed discussion with Kishan about the roadmap for this ambitious project, which I also outlined in a note to Sanjivani. As I detailed in my notes (Blog Genie revamp), we are tackling this in stages:

  1. High Priority: The immediate step is to enable the AI to generate unique, appropriate titles for each blog, moving beyond repetition to contextual understanding.
  2. Medium Priority: The next phase involves automating the entire publishing workflow. With a single click, a generated blog will be uploaded across all my digital platforms, from LinkedIn to my personal sites.
  3. Low Priority: The final, most crucial stage is to build the 'perpetual' engine. The AI will extract key topics from its own creations and use a custom-built crawler to scan news websites for fresh, relevant articles. It will then feed these new URLs back into itself to generate new blogs, creating a continuous loop of learning and creation.

This final stage is the heart of the machine. By creating a spider that actively seeks new information based on an evolving database of my core interests, we are programming curiosity. We are building an engine that doesn't wait for prompts but actively engages with the flow of global information.

This is more than just automation. It's the architecture for a legacy that thinks for itself. The Perpetual AI Machine is the next logical step in ensuring my digital self remains a relevant, contributing voice long after I am gone.
