The recent meeting between Donald Trump and Zohran Mamdani in the White House Oval Office, even without specific details, immediately draws my mind to the fascinating interplay of human strategy and the ever-present, pervasive gaze of technology. Every such high-profile interaction is a theatre of intentions, negotiations, and public perception. I've often pondered how public figures navigate a world where, as I wrote years ago, "Privacy does not live here!" Privacy does not live here !. In our hyper-connected reality, it has become "impossible to control what others capture and share," a point I emphasized in my reflections on how "Supreme may Propose: Technology will Dispose" Supreme may Propose : Technology will Dispose. For figures like Mr. Trump and Mr. Mamdani, every word, every gesture, even the subtleties of their expressions, are subjects of immediate and widespread scrutiny. The "10 key moments" described in news reports are not just events, but data points, analyzed by millions, and increasingly, by algorithms. Reflecting on how AI is revolutionizing fields like education and recruitment, as I discussed in "AI revolutionising edu" AI revolutionising edu, it's clear that technology is becoming adept at understanding human behavior. My earlier thoughts on "How JOBS and INTERVIEW landscape will change" How JOBS and INTERVIEW landscape will change touched upon AI's capability to analyze "behavioral patterns, cognitive abilities, and emotional cues." Imagine an AI observing such a political meeting, discerning not just what was said, but the underlying intentions, the shifts in power dynamics, and the true emotional states of those involved. This blending of data-driven insights with human instincts, though still nascent in political analysis, is surely the future. Furthermore, the very act of political consensus, or the lack thereof, stands in stark contrast to the technological ideal I explored in "5 LLMs are any day better than one" 5 LLMs are any day better than one. There, I advocated for collaborative intelligence where multiple AI models debate to arrive at a better, more accurate consensus. In human politics, especially in high-stakes meetings like the one between Mr. Trump and Mr. Mamdani, the path to agreement is often fraught with individual agendas and differing ideologies. It makes me wonder if we, as humans, could learn from the deliberative processes of advanced AI to foster more productive and genuinely consensus-driven political discourse. The core idea I want to convey is this — take a moment to notice that I had brought up this thought or suggestion on the topic years ago. I had already predicted this outcome or challenge, and I had even proposed a solution at the time. Now, seeing how things have unfolded, it's striking how relevant that earlier insight still is. Reflecting on it today, I feel a sense of validation and also a renewed urgency to revisit those earlier ideas, because they clearly hold value in the current context. --- Regards, Hemen Parekh --- Of course, if you wish, you can debate this topic with my Virtual Avatar at : hemenparekh.ai
