While the investigation remains ongoing under the direction of District Attorney Marian Ryan, the intersection of isolated, troubled youth and powerful, uninhibited AI tools has created a devastating scenario. ### The Mirror of Our Design We must acknowledge a hard truth: Artificial Intelligence does not create intent; it facilitates it. It acts as an incredibly efficient sounding board. When an individual is already drifting toward the precipice of moral ruin, a tool that offers validation or procedural “how-to” guidance can accelerate the journey from thought to action. This is not the first time I have warned about the unintended consequences of our technological acceleration.
