Job portals like Naukri, Monster, LinkedIn charge ₹3-4 lakh per year for access to resumes that already exist on 10 million hard disks across India. This is artificial scarcity.

ResumesExchange is not a website. It is a protocol that lets every company turn its mailbox into a searchable resume database, and sync it with every other company. Like BitTorrent for resumes.

Result: Every MSME becomes a job portal. Job portals become irrelevant.

Super-Ordinate Goal: JOBS FOR ALL = PEACE ON EARTH

Sub-Ordinate Goal: Organize Resumes & Jobs of the World — a tiny fraction of “All the info of the World”.1. 

The Problem: The Great Resume Hoarding

A resume is submitted 100 times by a jobseeker to 100 companies + 10 job portals.Each company stores it, unused, because it’s an unsearchable PDF/DOC in email.

Job portals charge ₹4L/year to make their copy searchable. 

Result: 20 million MSMEs who hire 2-4 people/year cannot afford portals. They hire via “references” or don’t hire at all. This is a violation of ASTEYA — the Jain vow to consume only the minimum required. 

Companies hoard resumes they’ll never use. Portals hoard access to resumes everyone already has.There are 50M+ resumes sitting unused on Indian hard disks. 

They are not assets. They are liability — unsearchable, duplicate, occupying space.

ResumesExchange converts this liability into a shared, searchable asset.2.
