How to Use These Messages

  • Text a few short lines to someone who matters to you today.
  • Write a longer note for a mother, mentor or partner.
  • Share a public post with a quote and a call to support local women-led initiatives.
  • Use the workplace lines in cards, emails or team shout-outs.

Personal Note (First-person)

I celebrate these messages with a mixture of joy and responsibility. I’ve written before about the large gaps that persist in wealth, opportunity and leadership for women (Gender Bind / Unfair Share). Celebration is important — it nourishes hope and recognition. But celebration without sustained action risks becoming symbolic rather than transformative.

So today I ask myself and invite you to pair your greeting with something practical: call someone who needs encouragement, mentor a young person, amplify women-led enterprises, volunteer time, support policy change, or simply listen. Small acts add up.

Simple Call-to-Action

  • Share one of these messages with a woman who inspires you. Make it personal.
  • Support a woman-owned business or creator this week — buy, promote, review.
  • Mentor or sponsor a young woman in your field for one hour a month.
  • Amplify voices: retweet, repost or share articles and stories authored by women.
  • Donate time or funds to an organization that advances girls’ education or women’s economic empowerment.

The smallest act done with care helps build a fairer future.

Regards,
Hemen Parekh
